The dark navy design combined with printed Montana leather near the cinch area creates a luxurious western look that feels clean, stylish and bold at the same time.

This pad was designed for riders who want not only beautiful design but also practical everyday comfort.

The anatomical shape follows the horse’s back naturally while creating enough spine clearance to reduce unnecessary pressure during riding.

The bottom layer is made from high-quality cotton that absorbs sweat extremely well, feels soft against the horse’s back and is much easier to maintain than traditional heavy felt pads. Quilted stitching improves airflow and helps the pad dry faster.

The top layer is made from durable waterproof 500D ballistic nylon designed for daily use while maintaining its beautiful appearance.

Large pockets with removable felt inserts are not primarily intended for correction, but mainly for easier washing, quicker drying and practical maintenance. The inserts can simply be removed before washing.

Compared to traditional felt pads, this construction offers significantly greater comfort. The pad does not only contain felt — it also includes diamond foam inside both the base layer and removable insert sections. This makes the pad softer, more shock absorbing and more comfortable than classic hard felt pads.

The 1 cm technical felt inserts still provide the stability and pressure distribution riders love about felt while maintaining their shape during riding.

The result is a saddle pad that keeps all the benefits of traditional felt while being softer, thicker and more comfortable than standard western felt pads. Total thickness with inserts is approximately 3 cm.

Luxury printed Montana leather near the cinch area preserves the authentic western look and gives the pad a premium finish. The dark navy design can also be perfectly matched with other Hayward’s Wild & Free Wear products.
